Abuary!

For the month of February I will be doing 200 ab exercises a day.  Please join me!  You don't need a gym or any equipment to do this.  Any ab exercise will be great.  Don't hold yourself back!

January Fitness

So far this month has been up and down for me.  I started strong and had a run of 2 weeks where I was working out at least once a day.  Then lazy time hit.  It was bad.  I lounged around doing nothing for a full week.

On Tuesday I decided I had to snap out of it!  I went to the gym to swim during my lunch break.  I got all changed and then realized that I left my googles in the car.  I was too lazy to back out there.  So I decided to use the kickboard and just workout my legs.  I did 1/3 of a mile like that and then I did another 1/3 running in the pool. 

Once I was home, I did the spin bike for about 30 mins.  I would have gone longer but one of my dogs started vomiting so I had to go take care of that.  I did some ab work after that.

Hubby and I made homemade pizza's for dinner.  It was amazing.

This morning my arms hurt like He!!.  Apparently when you use the kickboard you are using your arms to help support you.  Wowza.  It is a good hurt though.

2 weeks into the New Year

We are a few weeks into the New Year.  I have been eating better overall (occasionally a huge meal) and I have been working out more.  I am starting to see the difference which is a huge motivator. 

One of my friends was telling me that she has been doing the TRX class at the gym recently.  Its an 8 week program once a week.  I am going to try it out next week and see how it goes.  Has anyone done this before?  Just curious.
